How this API is designed
A few things worth knowing up front, since they shape how every endpoint below behaves:
- Orders you submit are reviewed before fulfillment. A submitted order lands as
PENDING— our team accepts it before it enters shipping. This is deliberate while our integration with your platform is still new. - We validate everything server-side. Prices, stock, and product availability are all checked and computed by us at submission time — we never trust a client-supplied price.
- Test keys are real, not mocked. A test key sees the exact same live catalogue as a live key, so you can build and verify your integration against real data. Orders submitted with a test key are flagged internally and never enter fulfillment.
- Retries are safe. Order submission takes an idempotency key from you (
partnerReference) — resending the same request returns the original order instead of creating a duplicate.
